Agreed.
Also, I understand what @bearsvsbulls is mentioning as anyone that has been past a few negative experiences will base their future actions on that acquired knowledge.
However, I think the point should be: "Failure is the mother of success."
The company wouldn't be drilling just for the sake of drilling if there were no great indicators and future prospects.
So as you said, "no way anyone could predict" the outcome, I'll rather keep a positive attitude and that's why I have invested.
