I think it was a highly questionable behaviour for management to agree to pay the contractors in shares.
That was obviously interpreted by the market as some kind of signal that they’ve struck oil and it’d be a successful drill.
At that point the sp was at 1.8 - 2 cents, after that point the sp starting going up astronomically.
