When they say it was not possible to log past 300m - its also telling you the core got churned by the drill due to highly broken ground conditions and/or they were drilling through cavities. So id reckon they'll be going over the seismic to see if they can get a handle on the geometry of the fractured zone, before putting a step out hole in to look for ground that is more intact and does not pose the same drilling challenges.

Although they did not state it explicitly, the highly fractured zone means there is always a chance we could get some conventional production from this spot-depending on whether the structure follows the coal seams and does not cross cut.

Good news, you betcha. @justinmetals good pick up on the upcoming drilling near the Oy Tolgoi gold mine...looking for power station fuel. If they get good results, Rio will jump on it.
