The ASX rules say they must Announce as soon as possible any price sensitive information but there are riders that allows companies to confirm results first if there is uncertainty.
It would depend how unambiguous the indicators were .
Oil over the shakers or a kick as they entered the reservoir would almost certainly precipitate an Announcement but they might wait for log results if indicators are more subtle .
As we know a flow test is required to test commerciality of the carbonate reservoirs even when the wire line logs are hopeful .
A week that many here have waited for for years .
Is it fear or excitement that has us shaking in our boots ?
