It’s all environmental issues that cause these operational problems. If the poly pipeline had been graded prior to installation the fire would not have gotten close enough to do serious damage. Even so a fire that is underground doesn’t burn so a grader blade along the front burying it would do the same ( at least that’s what the offset disks are for on farm land). It’s the endangered yellow throated muppets living in the region which allow these so called failures in operations. Trust me you have an environmentalist on-site employed by the company to make sure you don’t disturb anything so that the department doesn’t fine you or close you down ( you pick the department- they are plentiful).
