This option may be the best way to go given the difficulty to get development funding here in Cuba. Makes it a much simpler and quicker development as well.

In the end I think it will show that with the dore, returns are greater.... but still likely better off taking lower returns without the big CAPEX hurdle to get going. Then who knows, if we find outselves flush with cash after NS gets going, perhaps the dore option is back on the table.

Nice to have a couple of options at least.

This could also be primarily a negotiating tactic on behalf of Antilles, signaling that they are not beholden to an offtake partner.

As others indicate - it's better to show you have 'options' when looking for a 'partner' to tango with.

And I tend to agree with your view that margins are high enough to make other options viable - and not a facade.
