Hi, you were right. Born in Mosgiel, spent time in Timaru and the last 30 years in a town that a lot of early NZ miners came from or past through, Ballarat Victoria. Was a hobby back in the '60s and now following companies to see what we missed.
Trouble is you can not read a shareholders mind, they are like a mob of sheep, following 1 after the other.
In Otago up to the 1980s, for every one ounce of reef gold, there was 23.5 oz of alluvial gold recovered. Of the total gold, 1/3 was recovered by dredge. Today, Macreas is working on around 1gm/ Ton grade plus a big hole of nothing.
In the area, NPM has the Carrick area (historic overlay?) and drilled on a fault line near Hyde (coarse gold had been found) good arsenic and sulphides found in the cores. Management went to lunch, didn't wash hands, no word from them.
Google search nuggets otago- ODT article about Cyclone Metals taking over claims around Macreas and Rise & Shine, maybe just a sleeper.
Rise & Shine have been showing good results, one to watch.
The West Coast, great results, keep an eye on.
Now NAE has Arsenic and gold in the reef line and a locality that nuggets have been found, alluvial has been dredge in the valleys with a probability that it was from the reefs,
NAE has Otago-- Gold, Tungsten, Arsenic. Pilbara-- Gold, Lithium. Scotland--- Carbon (coal is a dirty word).
What more do we need.
