Its funny what retail think one Insto is capable of doing against the tide.
Guys, did you notice there was a masive 60%+ turn out, in a very short space of time on the Insto' raise? You know $172 million worth of stock bought?
How do you think Regal or anyone else for that matter can "play games" and push this stock down to "$0.20's" amidst that sort of buying interest.
How exactly does Regal do that? Seriously guys? Some 400 million shares bought on the primary market at $0.40 and you think Regal just "plays games" through that sort of buying interest in the secondary mkt. Selling and massively diminsihing the value of its own assets on a play to buy back cheaper?
The imagined manipulation of actual markets gets so boring on Hot Copper by uninformed retail. Yeah Regal just sells down, everyone panics. Stops go off and they buy all that stock they bought at $0.40 cents and far higher, that they then sold in the $0.30's to only buy all back in the $0.20's. Yeah right. They don't have compliance officers at Regal let alone a sense of realism.
The untoward practices in stock trading in Australia and elsewhere massively revolve around unfair obtaining of information on companies. For example plenty got wind of this raise and ignored their NDA's and sold down the stock in the weeks before the official announcement to market. That's where the dodgy trading occurs. Sell it at 60 and buy it back at 40 at worse on the secondary. Don't buy on market and pay $0.60, you will be able to get at $0.40 next week - whilst the ignorant alas do.
The "games" have been played. The sellers here are EOFY tax sellers mostly. They will convince themselves they did the right thing when/if the stock pop's post raise. Get a grip on the reality of one individial Insto's ability to on its own manipulate the stock trading amongst the eagerness of a whole host of other Insto's who were willing to pay $0.40, let alone $0.30.
$170 million of the $220 million sought has already been acheived already. The hard yards done already. Good luck with getting those $0.20's in the face of such Insto uptake. LMAO.
