Rather than selling ahead of ph3 readout - i am looking at hedging my position with some OTC options. Only problem is I cannot find brokers who create OTCs - can someone please recommend a broker who would do these type of derivatives??
These instruments are common in US but not so much in Australia.
My thinking is let’s say OPTOB trades at like 50c ahead of ph3 read out.. possibly can then afford to give up 10c premium to hedge it at 40c then hold out until Aug26.
If all goes pear shaped then you have 40c in your wallet otherwise if things go well then you could have $1+ and only have 10c less profit per option.
Numbers are just made up for example - not sure how much premium a real OTC put option would be.
