Pretty much agree with you.
Don't get me wrong, I currently hold over 1M shares, so I am very positive about OPT. I like the science behind Sozinibercept, I like the math based on the success of a large contingent low p-value P2 trial, and I like investing in something that could help humanity.
As you suggest, a few provisional deals could make OPT take off and become visible to retail investors.
Obviously, I am disappointed, as I could be holding 12% more shares for the same money as of Friday night if I had an inkling of the size of the CR. I want to hold 2 million shares, but I am cautious because of the small chance of failure and hitting zero—this would happen if both trials fail, same drug. Don't think failure is likely, very unlikely in fact, but possible, no sure things in P3.
DBX just took a look; it’s like winning the lottery if you got in last year.
