The Opthea website has had a real makeover.
Just got around to listening to the webcast of the “fireside chat” Opthea CE and CFO had with Citi biotech analyst Yigal Nochomovitz which came out on 8th June.
If you’re particularly into the science behind Opt-302 this is worth a listen if you’ve got the better part of an hour to spare. Goes into more scientific depth/detail than I’ve heard before, including an explanation from Megan Baldwin as to why in the phase IIb trial the 0.5mg dosing regime was overall statistically no better than the sham, albeit in certain groups there was a measurable effect. Provides some further scientific validation imo as to why Opt-302 is likely to produce successful phase III trial results.
