At worst, the results of the trial suggested we need a larger study to show OPT's efficacy in DME. It did not show it was inferior or it didn't work although that is exactly whatthe market is reacting with.

I want to point out CSL112's huge phase 2 trial on their potential blockbuster drug which showed no superiority (in fact, if you read the trial, the drug arm had higher mortality). But phase 2 trials are usually not designed to test comparability so the results need to be interpreted in that context.

I'm a mid 20s medic so my risk tolerance is higher and will be adding to be position over the coming days as the price falls (as part of a diversified portfolioof course! ). Why? Their AMD business alone is higher than the valuation right now excluding any DME prospect IMO. I bought OPT for long term play so let's see what happens.

According to the DCF models I have seen from a couple of the analysts, FDA full approval value for wAMD and DME is $9 per share and $3 per share. Approx.
