As a nonprofessional healh individual, my appreciation for this drug comes from the fact that my mother had macular
degeneration, which prevented her from living in her home alone, even tho she was a capable person while her sight.remained.
So if a drug shows no discernible side effects and a better result, (even if not as spectacular as people were hoped) it would be
a desirable option for many I believe. My aunt also has MD, lives in a serviced apartment but relies on others for duties which
she would much rather attend to herself. I realise that this form of treatment may not be for all patients with MD, but any
advance is welcome.
