This is a very high risks investment (gamble) to bet on the success of a single product of OPT.
Max. of 4 times return on this type of pharma play is fair in my book because of high risk and time consuming with no guarantee of success.
Their initial investment of $170 m x 4 = $ 680 m, do not understand where $1 B came from nor getting the return upfront.( the money was dispatched to OPT from 2023 and some in 2024 and IF successful, the return will start flowing from maybe 2027 over many years.
