Thanks for the reply. I was really hoping to get clarification for the first part wrt funding.
It's not really binary when there are three outcomes as you presented. 2 trials fail, 1 trial fails 1 succeeds, 2 trials succeed. Then if it fails but there is some effect the drug may have some value to someone else but any value in IP up to 1 billion will belong to Carlyle. So for shareholders it's probably 0 or a few dollars per share. Exciting.
