Yep. It takes OPT up to their maxing out of funding to US$170M. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that initial deal would see; "Opthea fully funded through pivotal phase 3 topline data and pre-commercial activities..."(15th Aug 2022).

However, in OPT's Annual Report (2023 - p56) OPT state the following;

"such proceeds will not be sufficient to fully fund all anticipated costs of the Phase 3 clinical trials to top-line data. We will need to raise significant funds to complete the efficacy and safety phase of both studies and to report top-line data."

So the additional $50M was pivotal;

"If the additional US$50 million is not received by June 30, 2024, the Group will need to raise additional funds or reduce expenditures to continue as a going concern."

Two things are certain about OPT. 1.) Always read the fine print 2.) They're good at burning cash
