TFG - onya mate. Ever the supreme optimist, seldom the objectivist though (balanced view)

The dry circuit fairy story is a very low probability of coming off, but it is the only possible to get us rolling with our well proven N.B.N.F.S....thyat's Not Bankable Not Feasibility Studyt. (I note current management go out of their way not to mention B.F.S. this year.

The Adelaide port is likely a problem - it does not handle the big ore carriers. I do not intend chasing what size ships can be handled but a few years ago when I looked at moving KI timber through port adelaide we were going to have to half load a Panamax at a berth at Inner harbour and then shift it to Outer harbour to finish loading to get the depth needed - too messy so did no proceed. It is going to be a small HIO operation to run Handymax size vessels... know anyone who wants Handymax ore carriers?

Not at all sure (apart from across the gulf by barge or around the top by rail) why HIO is not talking about using Cape Hardy where the biggies can dock. We must have proposed every possible gulf port (existing and imagined) Whyalla, Port Augusta, Port Pirie, Wallaroo, Adelaide except cape hardy.
