Reduced capex at Meekatharra mine site? So what. The same kit which will cost the same amount to build, has been moved to another location. Savings? TBD. Big deal.
If people believe that swapping locations and saving capital costs *at Meekatharra* means anything at all, then these people need to perhaps consider if they should be DYORing a bit more. If there is no actual capital cost savings, then all that is happening is that Opex is being added by trucking rock 440km (or, 370km? depends if I've measured the 74km from Geraldton correctly).
The domestic gas prices? It will be commercial gas prices. Again, a meaningless comparison.
Demonstrate that the IRR and NPV are better under this option with a scoping study level analysis, and put the doubters to bed. Until then, my doubting is intensifying.
