"Why now", indeed. as I alluded it's not impossible that there is some quid pro quo going on vis-a-vis the Bullzeye resolution and this.
And if EMR does sell and gets (picking a random figure) 750M AUD, for the next 18 months they become a company that has no income, and is an explorer/ developer of the Oz project (assuming they get 100% control) that is spending rather that generating. No matter how much money they have, I guess there is only so much they can accelerate transitioning Bullzeye into production.
How attractive is an EMR share for growth etc once the deal is done, if they have no income for 18 months.
To me the part of the story that suggests they are in discussions to sell cambodia only makes sense if the part of the story that says they are interested in acquiring something else is true and that something else is money generative.
