Not saying it is the case, but a scenario maybe that this mob is using company money to acquire projects, then run the company into the ground and then come through the backdoor and take over either after it is "put into administration" or some "takeover bid" which GK would vote in favour of!
If that ever becomes closer to a plausible scenario, I think a class action may also come closer to being the case. There will have to be an end to this joke surely.
