Underwriting of the options offer is not unusual - be it underwritten by a fund manager or directors.
It's hardly "outrageous" that the directors have agreed to buy any options IF AND ONLY IF the holders as at the record date do not choose to take them up.
This is a big vote of confidence by the directors.
What more do you want from them in this situation??.
It's the same as a capital raising being underwritten.
If the Irish Lithium deal is a sign of things to come??, then management may yet be able to extract some value out of this NASDAQ deal over time - which they have not managed to do as yet on the ASX.
