Are you seriously this daft? If you produce 5k ounces at negative $300-400/ounce (i.e cost is $2,800 and sale is $2,400-2500) then you LOST $1.5-2m. Then you have admin costs, capex costs, exploration costs etc on top of that which are all further cash burns. Then it depends on timing of cashflows on sales versus outgoings, what working cap position is etc. Finally you don't want to raise when you have absolutely no money left in the tank. Hence time was now.
