Timing had little to do with it , it was grossly overpriced from the start.
They didn't have to buy that grossly overpriced asset.
The huge discount in the capital raising tells us what everybody other than management thought it was worth.

Quite right Acullo , depending on the level of faith in the forecast and management, this might be oversold.
But probably not , still heaps of management discount available to the market.
