Not so sure about that Nightmarez - new guy at Beach under lot of pressure to simplify their focus on core projects and deliver, after several years of wasteful spending, c*ck ups, delays and questionable "growth" initiatives. That's why market has reacted so positively post results - they're finally going to stick to their knitting and focus on getting the basics right & delivering on the projects they have.

That said he did mention inorganic growth as a possibility given their balance sheet shape - but unlikely to take a look at Cooper until/unless they've sorted their own mess out (BMG abandonment completed, Orbost issues remedied for good, etc) - and even then... they will be super careful they aren't inadvertantly diving on a grenade.

Still COE a real deep value play if they can sort Orbost out once and for all, and get BMG done without any more cost blow outs. If! (After the last few years of perennial disappointment, I'll believe it only when I see it!)
