Agree with all that. This destructive tariff gambit by Trump could well bring on a US/global recession and reduced copper demand - hence the market and copper sell-off we are seeing. Let's hope Trump bails quicky of tariffs, claiming some sort of false 'liberation' victory, but holds on his promise to support and bolster US production of strategic/critical metals, including copper. We wait with baited breath.....
I do wonder if Australia's current status as a 'domestic' US producer when it comes to critical metals will hold going forward though....
