This is true and what I was trying to impart, that the tariffs as designed are - economically speaking -flawed.
One thing that may or may not have flown under the radar was that copper was (temporarily?) excluded from reciprocal tariffs

Anyway I did manage to pick up Freeport McMoran on sale (or at least it appeared to be on sale - price is what you pay and value is what you receive and all that...)
