I think not only is MAC watching zereal but analysing AMI with a fine tooth comb. Its a no brainer given the proximity of operating assets they both hold & MAC's stated ambition to grow through M&A by acquiring & operating high quality assets in stable jurisdictions that produce metals essential to the energy transition in the near to medium term.
Furthermore, MAC states that they are focused onacquiring assets with operational upside, cost reduction potential or expansion upside.Tick, tick & tick.
I think it could happen sooner rather then later too given AMI's SP, which I believe is undervalued even with the recent up tick.
