thanks for your reply speculator, i bought in on the last fund raise . so i my timing was just about spot on .only really had this on my watchlist about 6 weeks before . the weakness in the share price at that time prompted me to buy , i even opened an ASX facility with a new broker so i could buy GCY (as i'm a UK investor) for my first foray in to Australian stocks .
sick of aim if i am perfectly honest been investing since around 2004 and its a mire of misery with seemingly unregulated companies doing as they please rinsing shareholders time and time again. i have the battle scars to prove it therefore i know exactly what good and bad management is like.
i'm a fair judge of stock now and its no fluke that i arrived here at the optimum time and GCYs management is top class as far as i'm concerned a million miles away from the garbage that appears on aim
however not really fussed what went before and wildsea above makes some very interesting points regards past funding issues.
anyways no one has pointed out that the mine start up has given them an extra 6 weeks in terms of production forecast in BFS to year end. so an extra 6 weeks is also i suspect is two thirds of ramp up period but defiantly half of that period if you see what i mean.
cash savings from wages , power and a whole host of costs savings will be a tidy sum i can tell you.
