Good to have a little humor SoWo, as really, this sort of announcement, from past experience, has been a mixed bag at best for developers.
CMM continues to be very conservative with their announcements to the market (the word that comes to mind is deadpan), which, I guess I actually prefer, as otherwise, the spruiking just leads to expectations rising above reality.
I imagine that unless the company is presenting at a conference in the near term, we won't know all the details regarding costs etc until the quarterly.
Which is still a month away, so commissioning will be well underway by then, including first gold pour etc.
It will be interesting to see what sort of guidance the company provides, and when, as honestly, so few developers ever get close to guidance, especially what was forecast in the DFS! If CMM is able to beat the average, and achieve the 110-125k for CY2022, then we will have seen a real rarity, a developer, meet the DFS. They have just built a big plant. Commissioning takes time, so they will likely not be at a full run rate until the end of the Sept Q. So, at a guess, CMM will produce perhaps 35-50k for the rest of 2021? Hopefully I am being conservative.
@Agent86 - I am all for dividends, however, I would be surprised if they could pay one next year, as in, unless they were able to pay down the debt far more quickly than I expect. Plus, CMM has likely been holding off on exploration in a big way, I really hope this changes late this year.
Anyway, here's hoping that 'Risk' has indeed gone elsewhere.
