The issue is that the market value of SVM shares is heavily influenced by their offer. Last night the stock moved 11%, the first 5% of which occurred before the Fed speech. That 5% was surely due to market perception that Silvercorp is now less likely to win the bidding war and dilute their stock. If a higher 'implied' offer comes then their share price will very likely fall back again.
