Well job losses often go in cycles. I was previously retrenched from Telstra after 14 years service due to a restructure and then they eventually put more people back on, rinse and repeat. So have seen this all before, especially in times of higher inflation, they tighten the belt buckle, only to loosen it off when the cost pressures subside.
