I think coto hit on it - get some time up ladies before you come in on these threads with all guns blazing with your lame theories.

First of all the reduction in headcount, corporate speak I guess now for sackings, is across the board ie executive and the troops. Who's to say that BPT weren't becoming a fat dumb and happy culture and now we are trimming the fat and becoming a lean mean fighting machine, and even that is somewhat speculation on my part. Unless you were an ex employee, some type of inspector, or even the effing auditor general himself, to have such a definitive bent without all the facts on what might be just a sensible reset towards a more efficient operation is pure speculation.

As you have alluded to the company was in a mess, and we all know that, and something needed doing - and now the doing is done.

The market seemed to like it and I guess we will see if whether the company thrives or, according to you, will imminently collapse.

We will discover all this in the "fullness of time" to quote a very famous Permanent Secretary.

    Cheers
    BW
