    As much as I dont think TO is inevitable, they are by nature, hard to foresee. Your thinking is certainly feasible, which is why I mentioned the hidden value of the networks formed within partnerships.... also, throw in things like, first mover advantage, elimination of opposition etc and it's a theory that certainly must be kept close at hand
