I was just writing a post on another thread and came across an example of where Franklin Resources a huge NYSE listed fund lifted its stake in Sons of Gwalia when it's shares were trading at $1.30 only to see the company go bust the following week.

and I can give heaps of examples where the money has been wrong. Think Hunter Hall and some of the bad calls they made in 2016. Esh

Even more recently getswift.
75 million raised after an announcement they had signed amazon. Raised at 4 dollars a premium to wvap.
2 months later trading at 60 c
Now at 48 c and multiple class actions for misleading info.

I was lucky to get out when I did and claw back some losses with quick wins on a2m and apx
