Read the news releases from that time to see that actually nothing has happened for GXY in the intervening 10 years except massive payments to non working Directors like MR.

Bring on the merger and be gone with the absent, self-interested weekend Directors who pay more attention to the remuneration and sustainability reports than actually doing the work of bringing "World Class Assets" to market. Has been world class integrated lithium asset potential for over 10 years now.

While ORE might not have had a perfect run, they have at least been doing something and by my reckoning, those that do are bound to succeed, those that wait for others to do are failures and must be get out of the way. GXY shareholders could have done this on their own, but alas MR has had a firm hand on the do as little as possible button for so long they just don't see it anymore past the "potential" that shareholder see and value companies for. Unfortunately "potential" can only be realised if the right management is in place. This merger is a chance to put that right, finally!

Would be good to see more news on Anthony Tse and Nick Rowley (yes, MR's son) being let go also as there alone is another $1m+ a year synergy from this transaction that should be immediately realised.
