It will be a name change and ASX code change for the Orocobre Company. Let’s call it Merge Co. It is not a new company.
The simplest way to put it is:
If your stock holding of GXY is worth $10,000 at the close of trade on the 16th of August you will be given shares in merge Co, based on $10,000 / ORE closing price.
Example.
2500 GXY shares @ $4.00 each is $10,000
ORE Closing price will be very close to $7.02 based on the deal, on the day of the deal expect it to be very close to the .569 price formula.
$10,000 / $7.02 = 1425* shares in Merge co will be yours from the 17th Aug on a deferred settlement (allowing time for all the paperwork to process).
