It has a mild anti-coagulant effect for which the drug was originally purposed, but it has 1/20th of the thinning effect that Heparin does.
This property may exclude some of the patient population, or cause for close monitoring, and the exclusion criteria in the P2B trials is illustrative of the possible concerns Paradigm has. There are some nuisance side effects such as bruising at injection site.
That being said, its anti-coagulant effect probably is a leading mechanism to clear the Bone Marrow Endemas.
