The share price is disappointing for anyone (like me) who bought in after the stock hit the market, but I think the latest news about Osteopore's move into China is bigger than it appears in the media release.

I guess the underwhelming market response is because the news doesn't provide any immediate financial reward (last paragraph: "The revenue from sales from this initial purchase order are not considered material"). But this overlooks the fact that it's an important first step in establishing a presence in China, the reference point for more sales in China, and a host of other things that are vital for future growth. Things like data collection, relationship building, increasing brand recognition, understanding how to navigate the compliance regime, etc. These things don't have immediate financial benefits so won't send the share price north, but for a long-term thinker, I see it as a very positive step and will – eventually – result in a great financial return for holders.

For those (like me) who are disappointed in the current share price, remember that it's still at 4x the listing price. That jump from the IPO price of 20c is solely based on belief in the company's future, which I think is justified.
