After scratching around on Bivouac Peak stuff , I reckon that the Weiss Adler Etal well will possibly be the first well drilled in the immediate area of Shell Island that has had the benefit of a modern 3D seismic survey; especially the seismic amplitude versus offset technology which has been proven to help derisk exploration prospects pre-drill.   I base my thinking on the dates that other wells in the area were drilled and the advent of 3D seismic technology about 45 years ago.  The most analogous productive well drilled near Weiss Adler Etal, is CIB OP VUA, AL 5097 in the Little Bay field, some 7.5kms south west of Weiss Adler Etal.  CIB OP VUA, AL 5097 encountered 120 feet of net hydrocarbon pay over the interval 18,620 – 18,830 feet and produced 560,000 barrels of oil and 4.34 billion cubic feet of gas.

I’m feeling good about Weiss Adler Etal and after m scratching's around BP decided to take up my full allocation of shares and hopefully more………….
