Rosier #2-27 Delivers Initial
Production of 124BOPD
US-focused oil and gas exploration and production company
Red Fork Energy Limited (?Red Fork? or the ?Company?) is
very pleased to announce that recent completion operations
on the Rosier #2-27 well at the 100% owned and operated
Pawnee prospect (West Tulsa) has tested 124 barrels of 37
gravity oil, 45,000 cubic feet of 1350 BTU gas, with 900
barrels of load and formation water in 24 hours. This initial
production volume is directed to existing surface oil facilities
with sales beginning immediately.
The production rate of 124BOPD and 45MCFGD is the
highest achieved to date by Red Fork at the Pawnee
Prospect, and represents a 46% increase on the initial
production rate established in the discovery well (the Fuss
#1-34).
Gas associated with the primary oil production from this well
will be directed to sales through the Company?s now fully
operational gathering, compression and tap facilities.
The Rosier #2-27 well is being produced from the Red Fork
Sand formation (at a depth of approximately 3,500 feet) via a
submersible pump at the rate of 950 barrels of fluid per day.
Commenting on this announcement, Red Fork Managing
Director David Prentice said ?this result is a further strong
endorsement of the high quality conventional oil gas
discovery we have made at the Pawnee prospect which now
has over 12,000 acres leased surrounding the project.
?We are refining our completion techniques and the reservoir
is performing above our initial expectations and we have only
just started to exploit the project with this first pod of seven
wells.
?This is very exciting; with the Pawnee prospect now set to
become a very serious contributor to the Company?s future
revenue stream?.
As previously announced, Red Fork now has seven production wells, one water disposal well
and significant permanent oil and gas production facilities established at the Pawnee Prospect
