Article on the Basics of OGX can be read by clicking on the link. Yes its old but the information is still valid.
OGX has a leading Geologist from a major mining company, just up the road, on board from the beginning.
With his experience I believe he will take this small cap company places, patience is the key, as they are building a low cost, high yielding mine. Which will be highly profitable. Our problem is that we are so cheap, one of the majors could launch a takeover once we prove up resources.
Hopefully with each announcement as the SP rises, the chances of a takeover should abate.
If the rock chip samples taken were actually part of an outcrop and simply not laying on the surface, then that would excite the team there, with their combined experience, they are hopeful there is more just below the surface, but again it is hit and miss with drilling. They could miss a motherlode by mere inches and think its barren rock, as been proven by the last Gold Assays, Drilling in that area produced little to no gold, but underground they have proven it does exist, many ounces per tonne.
Thats why if you haven't read the link above on OGX,
"What makes this opportunity even better is that the type of gold deposit found in this asset (high grade “nuggetty” gold) is poorly understood by Australian investors and the market.
The market may not understand it yet, but our entrepreneurial geologist certainly does, and after reading our introduction to high grade “nuggetty” gold, so will you… and with the potential for cash flow as early as this year, you can bet that the market will be piling into this tiny stock in force once they understand this company’s value proposition."
You should do so, yes its a very good marketing piece, but the facts in the story still remain the same.
