sidefish ... I'll let you in on a secret ...coal mining is anything but complex. If Tinkler can make some money, then I can asure you, its not complex. A small number of ingredients ... 1. have enough coal to underwrite some minimal capex like offices and toilets and stuff; 2. a reasonable resource and enough credit worthiness to mobilise a contractor onto site 3. a physical logistics chain ... a railway line is really helpful.

The missing jigsaw pieces are (a) a licence to mine and (b) the endless govt "levies" to be paid ...
