I agree that many announcements made by ASX listed companies are very vague. Also actions speak louder than words. After the announcement of the 25/02/2013, I sent an email to VOR asking if they would include in an announcement some more photo’s of the core with longer sections so we can get an idea of what they mean by ‘frequently’.
I did not receive a reply.
I therefore concluded that they had nothing much to show and that the grades would be very poor for most of the interval. I was hoping for a second pump and dump but it is now clear that people had to be out before the announcement of the 28/03/2013.
I still have a small holding in VOR because VOR are still a slight chance of finding a porphyry with economical grades but it is always difficult to workout what part of an announcement to believe and what part is deliberately vague. So even if they announce that they have found it, I doubt if I will believe them until I see the assays and by then the share price will probably be much higher, therefore this will only ever be a small investment for me and/or a short term trading opportunity.
I hope that the investors that are behind on VOR at the moment have some good luck.
