imho, just the oil aspect alone, on a well producing 5 time what kunde is right now, would pay a 5 million dollar horizontal off in 6 months easy. assuming the horizontals will produce 5 time the rate a vertical will such as kunde 1.

kunde produces what? 3615 bo per month,, last few months closer to 2000..

thats $10 mill per year, on the 2000 bopm rating..

the kunde well averaged 3000 bopm over the first 6 months, if you get 5 times that your looking at $16.2 mill, just on oil.. $8.1mill in 6 months..

now these guys say the gas is equivilent..

the real excitement here is that the wells have equal value to the gas and condensate aspect of the sugarkane, as the chalks are overpressurised, with high matrix porosity and high liquid content.

i am holding for what conocphillips is spending the 100 million on. if its good enough for them i sure think its good enough for me..

all wells have delays,, expect more, then add a few more. its high pressure, extreme heat and miles underground..

expect wells to be shut in, wells lost, formations damaged, and expect all the things that can go wrong and pencil them in.

thats what your in for, anything can and will go wrong in the future when drilling wells..
