Gold is roughly $1380ish today AUD. A lot of buzz around that this is the bottom for POG, or maybe not. The grades at Mt. Kare are high enough, for PNG even, to warrant production. If PNG chips in their 30%....or even if they don't....I think this will get off the ground and grow. I'm expecting a 200k ounce annual rate to start with...and as they uncover more millions of oz resources...they can crank up the production rate. They have options, going deeper and/or drilling other zones of interest, they apparently plan to get the higher grades first out of the ground - to get the price monkey off their back...On that flight path I'd guesstimate 700-900 AUD cash costs.....for the first couple years....Plenty of time there to flesh out the rest of their targets and see if they can achieve Porgera numbers at depth. Not writing IDC off or worrying about it at all...That would be ridiculous. Have plenty others I wonder about...but this isn't one of them.
