Skidoo 23,
V/sorry.
That comment was aimed at some one else complaining about his "loss".
I am a long term investor in this company.
From my perspective its far far far too soon to be compaining about 'loss'.
There are far too many emotional 'sellers'.
The "loss" they complain of is largely self inflicted because the company has only just started to complete its milestones.
I think IDC has crossed the Rubicon, has only one way to go
The main issues people seem to focus on are money/dilution and Land Owner
With a measured resourse I think the money issue is not a big one.
The company is now in a position to mine + 100K oz at about $400 per oz for the next 4-5 years and then switch to a lower grade ore @ 100-150Koz for the next 4-5 years @$650
The economics are now looking very very robust which is to managements credit.
Land Owner issues have really not been in the fore ground much but they have been actively pursued from the outset.
I understand that aside from the usual suspects in the main these issues have been sorted to the point where the company is a hop step and jump from reaching a structured executed agreement.
The sticking issue is that until the application for a mining lease is lodged the process is not formally triggered.
That will entail a tripartied process between company, land owners, and government.
The government has a right to take up a fully paid equity (government to pay sunk costs) of 30 % but in this case my undertstanding is that the government will not go down this path
Rather, an agreement wil be reached for the benifit of the land owners (can we please call that the "local/regional community"?) shared between government and the company.
This won't be a simple cash basd agreement but will comprise a whole lot of give and take and will include development of infrastructure, community facilities, etcetera.
This is what was envisaged from the oustet and understood between land owners, government, and the company, and wil follow a model more like those used in indenture agreements in Western Australia
So when people ask the question "what about the land owner agreement" its a complex body of issues that must be addressed, a lot of which is mutually benificial for all the parties concerned.
For example, IDC might include in that package, the development of infrastructure (road access), contractual rights t local communities, employment, training, rights to very cheap electricity and liquid/gas fuels from the Hides Gas Project next door, etcetera.
