Let's pretend that there was no announcement re $250m and delay of the delivery, OK? (the bad news dump)
Prior to the announcement the SP was $4.50.
Now, take into consideration why the XJO index fell since 27th Jan. Some say floods, some Egypt, some mention another reason all together. Whatever the reason even without the announcement DOW SP would surely drop to $4.00-$4.10 during these last few days.
Compare that with the current price and think about the true damage the announcement has done to DOW share price.
$0.15-0.20 right.
The drop to $3.40 was sheer panic - nothing else. The SP has recovered since and buyers outnumber sellers 3:1.
I am fine with that.
