Gotta run but for a quick and dirty explanation. Amount received and duration taken to receive funds will be affected be investigations to determine if tailings dam design specification met the conditions, whether the dam was built to specification, whether the dam was operated as per design instruction, any agreed upper limit in claim amount (RED), whether the build cost of the new dam was included in the insurance or just environmental damage associated with failure, terms of or even the presence of any business interruption insurance + a million more things
