As far as I know most if not all of those patents are already incorporated in weapons and or ammo already!

For instance the 3GL ammo uses this one Patent Serial No. 12/280108 is important for Metal Storm weapon and ammunition systems.

And the Firestorm and the AICW 2nd CTD will be using this one and more than likely the Mach 5/50 weapon that the DSTO has already tested as well? Patent Serial No. 12/273702 is important for less lethal and for large calibre weapons.

And I would expect that the other three are already in use as well,for instance the Redback weapon already exists and this is just an upgrade I would expect, but as they said they may also use it in other weapons systems in the future?

Patent No. 7631600 is important for missile and incoming projectile defence.

It protects the target interception system designed for Redback and that the Company may use in other systems in the future?

All of this is good but it isn't a contract, it wont bring one single dollar through the door at metalstorm, we still need to hear something from Mr Finnear in the form of a CEO update, for instance, how about telling us what happened at the Chiefs of Police demo with the MAUL, did it blow up? Hows about telling us some decent news? Otherwise the SP will continue to get hammered.
