To be honest I dont use charts to buy specs.....
i buy based on....
buy and sell volumes.....research.....company potential....market cap.....and i try to be 1-2 days in before any anns coming....which comes back to research and timing.
There are good chartists whom Im sure could put u in the right direction.
Madmacs is one nic worth looking for.
Haspete is another
